IEM Headphones
Coming from the Audio-Technica ATH-Sport70BT which has a really nice sound but I do not recommend it and will not post it here. Then Apple AirPod Pros which are great but sometimes it’s just nice to have a good corded set of IEMs.
These puppies seemed like a good answer to me. They fit way better than the Sport70BTs sound almost as good for many times less cost and can even give the airpods a run for the money, over looking apples really good ANC features.
Are they audiophile grade, no! but for the price they will outperform most headphones in this price range. You can change the ear tips. The cable can be removed and replaced, there is an option for a cable with mic or no mic. The mic version is ok and is fine for phone calls. If one is looking for a cost-effective set of headphones to stick in one’s bag or pocket then you can’t go wrong with these IMEs.
These have the crazy 4BA+1DD driver setup. I’m not sure how much this really helps but the sound is good and clear. I also like the look of but have not tried yet the KZ CRN X (ZEX pro) which is a collab (not sure on the details yet) with Crinacle and plan to test them out.
