This is a handy little piece of tech. This has ASUS noise-canceling technology for your microphone. It is the same chip that is in their headphones and some motherboards.
While this is still second to RTX Voice for voice clarity it is nice because the is no software needed, it is just plug-and-play. You can run your headset like the EPOS H6pro straight off it.
You can also use this with just headphones as a USB audio DAC
If like me you have a desktop microphone and headphones. You will need to get a 4-pole microphone and headphone splitter cable. (EPOS H6pro comes with compatible cable 😉
One of the big reasons I choose to pick up this product myself is the is no way to run RTX voice in Linux. This solves my need for a good voice filter that is hardware based.
USB-C version comes with a USB-C to USB-A adaptor plus it will work on many but not all modern smartphones (Check if your phone supports external audio DAC’s).
The is an Apple lightning port version as well.
